Our Story
Woodford Insurance Service Inc. was established in 1987 when LHW Insurance purchased the then Woodford Insurance Service. LHW named after co-founder Lucy Hicks Worrell had been looking to grow beyond her primarily equine insurance practice in Motion-Hicks Insurance LTD formed in 1984. Lucy and husband/Co-founder Terry Worrell established the office on Rose Hill where it remains today. From the beginning their focus on quality products, service and loyalty to every client is what keeps the organization looking toward tomorrow.
